Information System for Authentication and Identification of Products (ISAIP)

Isaip (the information system for authenticatio and identification of products) is a system designed for protection of the consumers and producers’ information. The Information System for Authentication and Identification of Products (ISAIP) is designed to combat the spread of adulterated products (providing protection against counterfeit products).


The system is designated to:  
• protect consumers from the purchase of counterfeit products
• provide unique, protected marking for each item
• protect producers from direct and consequential loses through a system of the product authentication 
• set up autonomous product authentication procedure 
• provide consumers with the data about sel ected products


The system of protection against adulterated and counterfeit products:  

For producers:  
• reliable protection against counterfeit tags through the use of unique keys, creating and verifying electronic signatures;
• centralized generation of keys for verification of the signed content and the product’s data in the dedicated accredited ISAIP center.
For consumers:
• autonomous product authentication (including offline);
• acquisition of information about selected products;
• review the feedback received fr om other customers in regards to the acquired product.


It is a specialty of the system of protection against adulteration and counterfeiting (ISAIP) to employ asymmetric cryptography algorithms and differentiation of the rights to the signature authentication keys, i.e. public keys are maintained by the accredited center providing the access to the key base for all involved users.
